This year, we had the absolute pleasure of partnering once again with Broadway Shopping Centre to bring their festive vision to life, and the results have been nothing short of extraordinary. From an enchanting Christmas grotto to centre-wide lighting displays, Broadway has truly embraced the magic of the season.

A Traditional Grotto Filled with Colour & Christmas Nostalgia

At the heart of Broadway’s festive transformation sits a beautifully crafted traditional Christmas grotto bursting with vibrant colour, twinkling details, and all the wholesome nostalgia that makes this time of year so special. Designed to feel warm, joyful, and authentically festive, the grotto creates an immersive experience that delights visitors of all ages.

From handcrafted decorative touches to a layout designed for flow and interaction, every element of the grotto was carefully curated to spark joy the moment visitors step inside.

The response so far has been tremendous. The team at Broadway has received fantastic feedback from families, children, and shoppers who have already visited. Proof that the magic of Christmas is alive and thriving.

A Winter Wonderland Transformation

The festive display doesn’t end at the grotto doors. The entire shopping centre has been transformed into a breathtaking Winter Wonderland designed to uplift, inspire, and enhance the visitor journey.

The display includes:

  • Bright white curtain lights cascade across the space
  • Shimmering icicle lights add a crisp, frosted finish
  • A large-scale illuminated cone tree creates a showstopping focal point
  • White and blue hanging bauble motifs bring a contemporary, cohesive touch

Together, these elements create a dazzling atmosphere that feels both elegant and enchanting, perfect for elevating the shopping experience throughout the season.

Visitors are greeted with festive brilliance at every corner, turning ordinary shopping trips into memorable Christmas moments.

Centre Manager Rai Holdstock shared his thoughts on this year’s transformation:

“The new designs have been so well received and have brought the Christmas sparkle and glitter that Bexleyheath strives for each year. The grotto, which has a new ‘Santa’s Workshop’ theme this year, is absolutely stunning and the children that have visited it so far, have found it a magical experience.

Dealing with the Fizzco team is a real delight and in the 4 years that we have been with them I can barely remember any issues, and if there were any, they were dealt with straight away.

I look forward to working with Fizzco on future Christmas events, where they literally take the stress away from us.”
